Mr. W's Drive-By

Mr. W is on the market for a new boarding facility and we found a charming one who is all about "stress-free environments"; perfect for a high-strung, 6 lb. Chihuahua. Going into it, I was told that they like to have a trial one-night stay to make sure he will be okay for a longer stay and that the application would be pages long.

12 pages long, in fact. Questions like "How does your dog do with strangers? With other dogs? When was the last time he snapped at/bit someone?". You know, normal questions for which normal dogs would have normal answers. Us? Well, after we sent the forms in, we received a call from this facility and they think it would be best for Mr. W to do a "drive-by" and meet them twice before the trial one-night stay! OMG, who has time for this? Answer: us, apparently, because that's what we are doing right now.

Verdict: "He did great! Can you bring him by a few times before the overnight?". Uhhhh..

8 miles tomorrow. Glrk.

  1. With so many requested drive-by's, their first question should be, "Does he or other family members ever get car-sick?" :)
